Mother Goose rhymes and songs with lots of participation!

Regular monthly meeting of the OPL BOT B&G Committee to review and discuss upcoming repairs and improvements to the library building and grounds.

Drop-in help with homework for children in kindergarten through 6th grade. 

Build and program a robot to learn the basics of coding.

For ages 5-12. Children 8 and under must be accompanied by a grownup. 

Join us for weekly silent meditation hosted by Yorktown Zen and the Ossining Public Library.

Participants will have two 25-minute silent meditation periods, separated by a brief walking meditation.  Cushions and chairs are provided.

Improve your Spanish or English conversation skills by practicing in small groups in this friendly online learning experience. Your listening and speaking skills will improve, and your vocabulary will grow.

For kids ages 6-12.

Learn to play the Pokémon card game. Find opponents, try new decks, and get advice to improve your game.

Let your imagination soar at the library! Each Wednesday, kids are invited to explore their creativity through hands-on projects using a variety of materials and resources. 

For children ages 5-12. 

Children can practice their Spanish through activities and games. Children must have some prior knowledge of the Spanish language.

For children ages 6-12. 

Need a little extra help with math? We’ve got you covered! Our experienced tutors are available in the Teen Room from 6:00–8:00 PM. Don’t forget to bring your homework.

Enjoy playing Magic or looking to learn how to play the game? Join us in the Cafe Area on Thursdays for Magic: the Gathering. All skill levels are welcome! Bring your own deck or create your own to play using our collection of cards.

Let's get creative as we explore art and artists.

Children may practice and build upon their reading skills with Mason, a trained and certified therapy dog. 

For readers up to 12 years old. 

Join our teen book club for great reads, great conversations, and great snacks! We read new teen hits and classic favorites, meet weekly to discuss, and choose a new book every month.

A special time to bond with your infant and meet other caregivers. Enjoy movement, books, and nursery rhymes.

For the safety of the infants, this program is for non-walkers only and their grown-ups.

Join us on Friday afternoons to play Mahjong with other local players.  Attendees must have some knowledge of the game.
