Travel to Ancient Rome with us and learn about architecture, the food, and more!

In celebration of Italian Heritage Month, presenter Toni McKeen will take us on a journey to Ancient Rome.

Post Cards from Ancient Rome.  The Romans were famous for their amazing buildings, arches, roads, and aqueducts that have lasted for centuries. We are going to take a tour of some of my favorites. Included will be some familiar ones with new insights, pointing out less familiar details that you may have overlooked, and show some less familiar yet extraordinary ones. Did you know that a Roman built a pyramid for himself?

Presenter Toni McKeen is a historian, professional researcher and lecturer in the tri-state area. She presents a wide variety of programs on travel destinations around the world, famous men and women through the centuries, architecture of famous architects and their buildings, as well as prominent artists throughout history. She is also a well-known local genealogist, conducting research on her family for the last 30 years.

This presentation is virtual on zoom.  Pre-register here on our online calendar and you will receive the zoom link.
