The Ossining Public Library presents:
"Being Somebody"
Being Somebody is a funny and hope-filled new show starring Dr. Howard Mase, an extraordinary 88-year-old psychologist and executive coach, and his recording artist/playwright/actor daughter Marla Mase. Through masterful storytelling, music, and song, this father/daughter tour de force takes us back in time to their formative years, Howard growing up in Brooklyn’s post-war gleam of the 1940s, and Marla navigating the gritty disco era of the 1970s. This magical show reminds us of the moments that matter and touches on universal themes that allow us all to breathe more deeply, laugh heartily, and reconnect with ourselves and others.
