The Ossining Branch of the NAACP Proudly presents a film screening of the 2021 documentary of "The Summer of Soul - When the Revolution Could Not be Televised."
Featuring Ossining's own Sonny Sharrock and Executive Produced by Quest Love.
The film explores the 1969 Harlem Culture Festival that took place the same year as Woodstock and features Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, B.B. King, Sly and the Family Stone, Gladys Knight and the Pips, David Ruffin, Mahaliah Jackson, the Fifth Dimension, and more.
