Event Details
Learn the basics of expressing yourself through art, writing, doodling, collage, music and more. This class gives you the opportunity to experiment with writing and visual arts and tools for healing. No prior artistic talent required.
Creative Journal Expressive Arts is a method using simple tools for any process of healing, creativity and for planning the future. It is the application of right brain research to therapy, personal growth, and healing that involves the healing power of drawing and writing with the dominant and non-dominant hand.

This workshop is conducted in a safe environment in which to work through any personal and inter-personal conflicts, past traumas and other blocks to creativity and personal growth.
In addition to learning some of the basics of Creative Journaling, participants will learn specific exercises on forgiving ourselves and others via collaging and drawing and using our non-dominant hand.
Class is led by a trained facilitator. Lori Jo Siegel, is a trained CJEA facilitator. Lori has facilitated numerous groups and offers creative tools to facilitate awareness, healing and change for emotional health and healing based on The Creative Journal by Dr. Lucia Capacchione. Along with being a CJEA facilitator, Lori Jo has her MS in Education, is a teacher, artist, and musician.
