Weaving the Future: Community Workshop on Kichwa Textile Traditions
In the Andes, textile traditions are an invaluable repository of knowledge, philosophy, and ancestral guidance transmitted from generation to generation. Locally, cultural bearers of the Kichwa Ecuadorian migrant community maintain the legacy of hand-spinning, natural dyeing, and weaving.
Join us for an interactive traditional arts workshop facilitated by local Ecuadorian artisans and knowledge keepers. We will explore textitle traditions as pillars of Andean sprirituality, wellbeing, and intergenerational healing.
Please register on our online calendar. We will meet in the second floor Conference Room at 6:00pm.
