Calling all Music Lovers and Fans of Italian American Music alike!
In honor of Italian Heritage Month, Vanessa Racci will be presenting something other than a live performance: a lecture to raise awareness for her new non-profit Italian Americans in Music.
From the soaring voice of Enrico Caruso to the chart-topping hits of Lady Gaga, Italian Americans have helped define the soundtrack of America. This lively lecture celebrates the remarkable journey of Italian American musicians whose talent and creativity transformed opera, jazz, rock, pop, and beyond. Together we’ll explore how generations of artists left their mark on American culture, inspiring audiences and shaping the nation’s musical identity. More than a history lesson, this event is a call to honor and preserve the rich legacy of Italian American contributions to music — and to support the future voices who will carry that tradition forward.
