Event Details

A group of Westchester writers will express their mournful and comic thoughts in 1 monologue, 2 poems and 3 short plays. Their work examines the six stages of “good grief” from sorrow’s motif, to regret in brief, to an exclamation of disbelief. They will present the following: 

HOW DOES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL by Nancy Cashman

A disgruntled housewife is urged to express her feelings by her therapist who finds himself directly in the line of fire.

LOSING MY MIND by Nancy Cashman

A grieving widow loses her way on a rainy thruway and fears she may be losing more than that.

BROOKLYN From Gladys Day by Misha T. Sinclair and Jessica W. Bonds

A man goes back home, physically and spiritually.

I’M TIRED From Gladys Day by Misha T. Sinclair and Jessica W. Bonds

A woman laments the ennui of her life.

LOVE AT WORST SIGHT by Ed Friedman

A newly dating couple find a new meaning for the term color blind.

A FAMILY AFFAIR by Albi Gorn

A daughter brings home her fiancé to meet her folks, and the skeletons come tumbling out of the closet.
