The Hollow: A Fireside Conversation

Stories, Memories & Moments You Won’t Find in a History Book

Join us for an engaging fireside conversation introducing The Hollow, a community history project built from the voices and memories of those who lived it, presented by Ossining Village Historian Joyce Sharrock Cole.

This evening will highlight some of the most compelling stories gathered so far, shared just as they were remembered: the excitement of the Italian festival, a chilling tale of a haunting, the legend of Chicken Mary, and other moments that capture the everyday life, humor, mystery, and culture of The Hollow.

These are not polished presentations or finished films, these are stories in motion. Told aloud. Remembered together. Preserved because they matter.

Whether your connection to The Hollow is deep, distant, or newly discovered, you are invited to come listen, laugh, reflect, and be part of shaping a project that honors a place through the people who knew it best.

Come for the stories. Stay for the conversation.  All are welcome to attend.
