G. Victoria Campbell is an artist-in-residence at Bethany Arts Center this Fall where she is writing a musical about Philippa Duke Schuyler, a mixed-race, Harlem Renaissance born child prodigy, pianist, and writer.  As a part of Victoria's residency, she will be hosting a FREE "Community Poetry Workshop" on Identity, Legacy and Belonging.  During this 90-minute workshop, Victoria will introduce her project honoring the life of Philippa Duke Schuyler, and participants will be invited to write personal and group poetry rooted in identity and inclusion.

This is a space for truth-telling and collective creative expression.

All ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience are welcome.

This is an intergenerational workshop.  All ages are welcome.

Pre-registration is required.  Please register HERE with Bethany Arts Center.
