Classical Ensemble Audabe Trio - The Sunday Afternoon Concert Series

The Sunday Afternoon Concert Series presents: 

Ensemble Aubade Trio 

Peter H. Bloom, flute and alto flute; Francis Grimes, viola; and Steven Sussman, piano perform in a dazzling concert called Mozart and More.  The acclaimed trio is based in Boston and performs across the United States. They’ve been praised for “intensity, imagination, skill, and finesse” (St. Lawrence University, NY).  The ensemble will take the audience on a fascinating tour, from the salons of Vienna and Paris to the concert halls of New York, with masterpieces by Mozart, Louise Farrenc (a magnificent Romantic-era composer from France), and the legendary Broadway arranger Robert Russell Bennett.  Their playing has been called “dynamic, expressive, richly colored and affecting” (Loretto Community, Kentucky).
