Join us for the third installment of a three-part discussion series on the making and appreciation of cinema, drawing from Richard's experiences working on over 50 major motion pictures.

New York in Film

Tonight Richard will be discussing cinematic representations of the City of New York through his work on such films as The Taking of Pelham 123 (Associate Producer, Unit Production Manager), The Wolf of Wall Street (Co-Producer, Unit Production Manager), Money Train (Unit Production Manager), and more!

This series is being held in honor of our OPL colleague Bonnie Katz (1952-2021). A librarian and passionate film buff, Bonnie had a positive spirit and outgoing personality, and was a respected member of our profession and the Ossining community.  We are grateful to the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Hartford and the Ossining Library Foundation for funding this series.
