Join us for the first installment of a three-part discussion series on the making and appreciation of cinema, drawing from Richard's experiences working on over 50 major motion pictures. (The second and third discussions will be held on May 4 and May 18 respectively. Please see the calendar entries for those dates for further details.)

Tonight Richard will be discussing the dramatic genre through his work on such films as The Irishman (Executive Producer), Donnie Brasco (Unit Production Manager), Awakenings (Location Manager), and more!

This series is being held in honor of our OPL colleague Bonnie Katz (1952-2021). A librarian and passionate film buff, Bonnie had a positive spirit and outgoing personality, and was a respected member of our profession and the Ossining community. We are grateful to the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Hartford and the Ossining Library Foundation for funding this series.
