Program Description

Event Details

Join us for the second installment of a three-part discussion series on the making and appreciation of cinema, drawing from Richard's experiences working on over 50 major motion pictures. (The third discussion will be held on May 18. Please see the calendar entry for that date for further details.)

Romance and Comedy

Tonight Richard will be discussing romantic and comedic cinema through his work on such films as Maid in Manhattan (Co-Producer, Unit Production Manager), Big (Location Manager), The Pink Panther (Unit Production Manager), and more!

This series is being held in honor of our OPL colleague Bonnie Katz (1952-2021). A librarian and passionate film buff, Bonnie had a positive spirit and outgoing personality, and was a respected member of our profession and the Ossining community. We are grateful to the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Hartford and the Ossining Library Foundation for funding this series.
