Alzheimer's Research Update
Saturday, June 8 from 3:00-4:00pm

Meg Boyce, Research Champion and Vice President of Programs and Services, Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley Chapter will update us on the exciting new developments in Alzheimer's research, including drugs that can slow the progression of this disease.

Meg oversees programs and services offered by the Hudson Valley Chapter to meet the needs of the community. She played an integral part in opening the first unit in the country for inmates with Alzheimer’s disease or related forms of dementia. She also provided a web-based training for police officers throughout the state of New York.  She received her Master’s of Social Work from Fordham University and worked in the long-term care field as director of social work for two nursing facilities in Dutchess County.
