Program Description

Event Details

Please join us for this screening of "Alive Inside," an award-winning documentary about the power of music in dementia care.  This film is suitable for all ages and will be followed by a brief panel discussion to open conversation on brain health and Alzheimer's care and encouraging community awareness and dialogue.

This program is sponsored by Brain Waves for Change, a student-led initiative that provides accessible brain health education to our community through arts and crafts and visual storytelling.  They lead educational workshops at local libraries, partner with nonprofits such as NAMI and more, and host community-wide fundraising events.  Co-sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association Hudson Valley Chapter and the Ossining Public Library.

June is Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month, and we hope you will join us to raise awareness in our community!

Pre-registration is preferred.  Please register here on our calendar.  All are welcome to attend.
